Art in October

We painted like Jackson Pollack, flinging paint!
This is definetly a popular art activity for 1st graders.

I find the trick with having little kids do art is to STOP them before they start making it too mushy. I've worked with 3 and 4 year olds creating watercolor art. They have beautiful uninhibited paint strokes but you have to have a trick to get them stop before it gets muddy.
